IRENISA

IRENISA starts with its FW20 collection. Inspired by sarcastic and paradoxical subtleties, as it betrays traditional ideas behind clothing with a playfulness unbound by traditional concepts. New garments combining craftsmanship with three-dimensional design while remaining familiar to the basics, thus incorporating the opportunity of transforming the appearance of what is ordinary. The underlying proposal being clothes that can last a long time although being somewhat unfinished in their completion.

Before establishing IRENISA in 2020, the Tokyo-based designers, Yu Kobayashi served as an experienced pattern maker at Yohji Yamamoto while Yuji Abe worked on planning, design, and production development.
